Pink scooter
This folding kick scooter is a great option for kids & teens. It feels sturdy and well made. The wide anti-slip deck is a nice touch for stability, and the adjustable height makes it easy to customize for different riders. It does take some assembly, which I wish was already done, but putting it together isn’t too difficult. Once assembled, it rides smoothly and feels durable. Overall, it makes a really great gift practical, fun, and built to last.

    This folding kick scooter is a great option for kids & teens. It feels sturdy and well made.     Hard to put together

    This scooter was very difficult to put together. None of the holes aligned. luckily I have a handy husband who was able to make the holes a little bit bigger with a drill. Seems like a manufacturing error. Once we finally got it together, it does seem like a nice durable scooter. But anyone who purchases this without any power tools would not be so lucky and likely return the product.

    Solid scooter overall and a good value. It feels sturdy, the adjustable height is nice, and the folding feature makes it easy to store or bring along. The deck is wide enough to feel stable and the ride is smooth. My only reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that it could feel a little more premium in a few small areas, but it still works great and gets the job done. Would recommend for kids and even adults looking for a simple, reliable scooter.

    handle bars do not tighten enough to keep wheel straight.

    My daughter loves her scooter!

    It was fairly simple to assemble. After about 5-10 minutes the scooter was ready to go.
    Of course, someone had to test it, so at about 200lbs I took a quick scroll around the drive way. It is able to hold and carry the weight.

    The hand grips are comfortable. The foot grip/base is very granulated and will prevent shipping.

    The handle bar adjust easily, so once my maiden voyage was over, I was able to quickly and effortlessly adjust the handle bar to her size and hand it over to her. She is thoroughly enjoying this addition to our set of outdoor toys and games.

    It is a smooth ride and feels sturdy. The back brake works just like it should.

    The ability to folds and store it is great. The mechanism is simple and it folds and looks in the folds position perfectly.

    The style and look is fun — my daughter likes the paste color pallette so this scooter works well for her. She has a ton of fun rising along with her siblings on this scooter!

    OVERALL:
    My daughter is enjoying this scooter and having fun with it. I am confident it will last and continue to be used for a long time. It is holds grow adult weight perfectly fine too. Impressed!!

    My daughter loves her scooter!

    Assembles easily with four bolts and nuts. Thats about it for positives. Once folded out, the handle has a lot of play where it secures to the steering tube on the forks. The internal portion of the hinge uses too thin of aluminum material. This leaves a lot of movement/slop on the pivot point, even tightened as much as possible. The wheels are fine and roll well, but have a foul odor. My main concern is the front end folding under regular use. Be sure to snug up the head tube clamp after every short use. The thin handlebar tube clamps onto the threaded fork tube with a significantly loose tolerance. Our 7-year old managed to wallow it out after one afternoon. We have another scooter from a big box store that is much better built. For the price I expected more durability than one afternoon.

    If you are not familiar with Amazon Vine, it is basically Amazon trading free* products for honest reviews. You see a lot of Vine reviews that are cookie cutter and based on templates. I aim to make my reviews honest and non-cookie cutter (other than this intro and disclaimer).

    * These items are not actually free as Vine members pay income tax on the items they receive. Therefore, I will never order something from Vine unless I actually intend to use it. I think this is important for readers to understand because it means I will never order an item just to provide a fake five star review to a company. If I review something as good, it means I actually enjoyed using it or it fills its intended purpose correctly. Items that don't meet my expectations will be reviewed accordingly.

    Why I ordered this item: My kid needed something to get around the neighborhood and I wanted something that could grow with her instead of buying a new one every year or two. The adjustable handlebar seemed like it would buy us some time.

    Likes:

    * The frame is solid. It's steel where it matters and the welds look clean. This thing feels like it could take a beating.

    * Three height settings on the handlebar is useful. My kid was able to ride it comfortably from day one and I can see her using it for the next couple years without it feeling too short.

    * The deck is nice and wide, which makes a real difference when she's learning to balance. The textured surface grips well even when their shoes are wet.

    * Assembly took maybe ten minutes tops.

    * It folds up small enough to throw in the car when we need to transport it.

    No likes:

    * There's play in the handlebar connection that bugs me. Not so bad that it makes it unrideable, but you can definitely feel it when they're turning. It shouldn't move that much out of the box.

    * The hinge where it folds is thin aluminum and feels loose already. I have a feeling that's going to get worse before long.

    * The wheels have this chemical smell that's pretty strong. It fades a bit but it's noticeable the first few rides.

    * The front end components are already showing signs of loosening up after a few uses. I'll probably need to keep tightening things.

    Would I pay full price for this product: No.

    Final thoughts: It's a functional scooter for a low price, but I think it's worth paying more for something a little higher end.

    It was easy to asseble. The 3 parts fit together is a little of tension, which is good to minimize any play. The holes for 4 bolts line up perfectly. There are no burrs anywhere. The handlebar shaft goes over the threaded tube on the front wheel fork losely, as the otehr reviewer notices, but you have to use the wrench to tighten it. The included wrenches are a bit short so I had to use my own. Or you can use gloves, but you should really tighten it well. Also, the front fork bearing is adjustable and comes loose from the factory. Again, you can adjust it. After I have adjusted it there was no play whatsover. Just do not overtighten or the scooter will only go straight 🙂
    It was fun to ride for the 7yo and her younger sisters were supr jealous. The frame is constructed of thick metal. Color is good – matches the listing. It appears to be durable. Again, adjust and tighten and you will not have any issues with it. The brake works well too. The kick stand is good and did not need any adjustments.
