This scooter provides a smooth ride (though definitely not shock absorbing as it states) with a kickstand and a sturdy feel (compared to plastic versions). It adjusts for both of my kids to use it comfortably.
There are some noticeable downfalls. The kickstand does hold it upright but isn't exceptionally sturdy when the handlebar is at full height. The rear brake doesn't have a rubber sleeve inside, so it requires more force to stop versus a typical scooter. The graphic doesn't apply to all ages, and the post doesn't make it overly clear that the logo is on the non-slip deck. The handlebars tend to misalign with the front wheel regardless of how much I tighten the clamp, likely due to the scooter falling on the handle bar tips.
The scooter is well made and will function for a long time for younger kids. The wheel material does look like it will wear down before the rest of the scooter, especially the rear wheel. On rough pavement these will likely last only a year or two. The regular list price at $70 puts this in the higher range, but when on sale for $50 it is well worth that price tag. Just need to offer deck designs that fit the majority of users…
